On the occasion of National Local Government Day 2023, a three-day development fair and cultural program has been organized from 17 to 19 September 2023. This afternoon Mr. Khristhafar Himel Richil, Upazila Executive Officer, Nalitabari, Sherpur presided over the colorful rally and post-rally discussion meeting. Mr. Matia Chowdhury, Honorable Deputy Leader of Parliament and Member of Parliament, 144, Sherpur 2, spoke through mobile phone as the chief guest. Mr. Md. Mokchedur Rahman Lebu, Upazila Parishad Chairman, Nalitabari was present as the main negotiator. Mr. Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, Mayor, Nalitabari Municipality, Mr. AHM Mostafa Kamal, President, Bangladesh Awami League, Nalitabari Upzilla Branch, Mr. Waz Kuruni, General Secretary, Bangladesh Awami League, Nalitabari Upzilla Branch, Mr. Md. Abdus Sab were present as special guests. Ur , President, Union Council Chairman Association, Nalitabari, Officers-in-charge, Nalitabari Police Station representative Mr. Sayedur Rahman, SI. Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Agriculture Extension Officer, Upazila Agriculture Officer's Office, Nalitabari conducted the event. Besides, officials of various departments, chairman of the union council, journalists of print and electronic media, representatives of the public and dignitaries were also present.
